Those that Know Bruce have said he was Distraught by the outcome of his recent divorce.
I'm talking about the 2008 Christmas Eve Santa Clause Slaughter.

The reason for this post is not for the horrific details of events that took place
in the family home. It has to do with why this happened, why did Bruce Pardot,
45, no criminal record or history of violence, walk up to a posh suburban home wearing a Santa suit and carrying a large gift, open fire on the 8 year old girl as she opened the door? After shooting her in the face, Bruce walked in and killed 8 members of a family then set fire to the house with a hand crafted flamable liquid dispensing device. He drove about 25 miles away and took his own life.
Is our Family Court System to blame?
How sacred can the sanctities of marriage be, when a court order can instantly sever the relationship between a husband and wife?
You here about these kinds of killings all the time, Everyday, a family member takes it upon his or her self to exact justice on a situation that should have been handled in a just manner.
Should changes in our Family Court System be made to avoid future Christmas Eve Massacres?
Maybe I'm way off, when I attribute that Bruce's experiences in family court some how contributed to his pre-meditated, meticulously planned, retribution on his ex-wife? Maybe I'm not? Tell me what you think.

Well, once again you have baffled me with another wonderful holiday story. It warms my heart that these stories hit home with you. So now I will be on my toes on New Years and then maybe on V-Day I will keep clear of exploding candy hearts and then again will I never be able to trust another innocent bunny. Thanks a lot for openeing my eyes to this horrible justice system we have. If only the courts would listen to fathers as do they mothers, then maybe poor Santa would be able to just go down the chimney and enjoy milk and cookies instead of a bullet. What has this world come to? There simply is no justice.....
